Project Description:	I run a smalliish economics-related academic discussion PHPBB3-based site. Membership is invitation-only (so semi-interested passerbys do not clog "macroeconomics of Brazil" threads, for example) and registrations need to be manually approved by the admin, who at the moment is myself. (Specifically, "Account Activation" under "General Settings" in the administration panel is set to "By Admin".) Unfortunately this approval process is tedious and slow, and more importantly casts the membership net far too narrowly for my liking. The desired PHPBB3 MOD would automate the process, allowing any current member to invite friends without any admin intervention or approval. The "Account Activation" would remain set to "By Admin" to continue to disallow open registration. Functionality would include: (1) a form that allows an existing member to invite up to 10 friends to become new members<br> (2) after clicking "Submit" the form would email invitation letters to the friends, AND<br> (3) the form would enter Friend Emails into the relevant MySQL database, preapproving them for registration. The friend would be able to immediately register without admin intervention. <br> (4) these actions are tracked in a log that can be viewed from the Administration panel... specifically, the log would list who invited whom, the latter's email, and time of invitation email. The successful bidder may freely utilize existing MODs and open source code snippets. For example, Joomla has a similar invite-a-friend feature and email forms are commonplace.
