Project Description:	Objective: To develop a dynamic web-site with shopping cart, credit card payments & sends msgs to fax machines and links to integrates with IVR. Details: The web-site would have 3 types of users – individual, client admin, vendor admin and would have about 15-20 dynamic pages and 10-15 static pages. We would like to get help with the complete front-end solution, including designing dynamic pages with placeholders to call classes let us integrate back-end database. The in-house team has a good idea about the complete layout of the web-site and help is needed in designing the same using HTML, Ajax etc – we can even provide some in doc format. Technology to Use: HTML, Java, Javascript, PHP, Ajax etc. For back-end we are exploring JBoss as the application server, Apache as web server, MySQL as the database server, Java, J2EE This e-commerce web-site would be part of the intranet of a major corporation and will help its individual employees connect and place orders with over 2000 vendors across India. From the intranet, the users would be able to login (or search without login and login later), search for a vendor based on geography, they would be able to read the services offered by the vendor and if they like the services they would choose the vendor to supply the parts. They would be able to customize the product by adding sub-parts, and also have opportunity to add more to their shopping cart. The user would then enter the credit card number (most times the corporate credit card) to make the payment. If they are a new user, they would be allowed to create their own login, and enter new credit card. We want the site to be simple, fast (even on low-bandwidth), and extremely user friendly – with enough built in flexibility to add in more features, services, etc – including web 2.0 (blog, tags etc) type functionalities. Colour will be simple.
